The Blackwell Farmstead all started in 2019 when we had the desire to grow our own food for our little family. One thing led to another, and that passion for producing high quality food for our family grew into raising animals to provide meat to our community.

We are here to offer food that is raised humanely and given the ability to express their natural, God-given traits from birth to butcher. Thats why we raise our chickens on pasture where they are moved to fresh grass daily in their portable pens, and our pigs are raised in the woods where they root and grub up insects from the forest floor. Our farming methods result in a high quality, all natural product that nourishes our customers and their families.
